What would you do if you won the lottery? How long do you think it would take you to go collect your prize? Would you like people to know that you have become the winner of a millionaire fortune? Probably all these questions and many more went through the mind of the Eurojackpot winner on October 7, 2025. Residing in Berlin, the anonymous winner did not want to provide any information about themselves or about what they plan to do with the prize.

What caught the attention of the lottery office workers the most was that it took them no more and no less than 2 weeks to claim the prize, leading them to think that it was a casual player. For the price of €19 ($22), they bet on the numbers 7-18-31-32-33, and the Euro numbers 10-11, with which they won the prize of 120 million euros ($139.9 million).

And what if you won the lottery?

Many of us dream about the possibility of winning the lottery someday, but have we really stopped to think about what we would do if that were to happen? It’s true that the odds are not really in our favor, but it’s clear that if it happens, we could become one of those chosen by Lady Fortune. If that were the case, have you thought about what you would truly do with such a large amount of money?

The answers usually range from paying off mortgages, buying a house, quitting work, buying a car, traveling without limits, and a thousand other options. There are also those people who, even if they win a substantial amount of money, prefer to continue having a normal and humble lifestyle, turning the prize into savings for the future or for when it may be needed.

Eurojackpot

As explained on the Lotocheck website, Eurojackpot is a European lottery founded in 2012, which has been gaining popularity year by year. Currently, 18 countries across Europe participate in it. Playing is simple: you just need to choose 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 additional numbers from 1 to 12. There is also a jackpot, but to win it, you need to match all 7 numbers. Eurojackpot draws are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, in Helsinki, Finland.

What appeals to Eurojackpot players is that it offers multiple prize categories, increasing the chances of winning something. Additionally, the guaranteed minimum jackpot is 10 million euros, and it can accumulate up to 120 million euros. To win the jackpot, all 7 numbers must be matched. If you don’t win the top prize, there are 12 prize categories.

Anonymous winner in Berlin

Despite not seeking any spotlight, the latest Eurojackpot winner has become quite well-known. After the winning number was announced and no one came forward to claim it, the lottery office staff even considered launching a campaign to find the winner, as they thought it might be a casual player. However, the winner, a resident of Berlin, went to the lottery office to claim the prize two weeks later.

It was not until October 7, 2025, that they claimed it, remaining very reserved and refusing to share any details about what they would do with the money. According to a spokesperson, the anonymous winner stated that they were in no rush and wanted to think clearly about what they would do with the money before claiming it. After buying a €19 ($22) ticket, he bet on the numbers 7, 18, 31, 32, 33 and the Euro numbers 10 and 11, with which he won the €120 million ($139.9 million) jackpot.
