Can you imagine living in a skyscraper 1,745 feet above the ground? This is the project launched by the company Developer Tiger Properties in the Business Bay district of Dubai, with the construction of the Tiger Sky Tower. A $1 billion residential skyscraper that aims to house 122 floors, 849 apartments, 18 penthouses, and a Royal Sky Penthouse. The plans include the world’s highest infinity pool, the highest restaurant on the planet, and what stands out the most, the world’s highest tropical rainforest.

According to the company, it is not just a new home, but a lifestyle, with jacuzzis, outdoor pools, barbecue areas, basketball and tennis courts. A full spa, gym, children’s play area, among many other features. According to the real estate agency Dubái ismo, the price for a one-bedroom apartment will be around $600,000, while the penthouses could reach $13.7 million. The construction is already underway and it is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2029.

Tiger Sky Tower

It seems that Dubai is not content with having the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, but has already begun construction on the world’s tallest residential skyscraper: the Tiger Sky Tower. Valued at 1 billion dollars, it is a tower located in Dubai’s Business Bay district, which will reach a height of 1,745 feet, becoming the tallest residential building in the world.

The Tiger Sky Tower will have 122 floors, 849 apartments with one to four bedrooms, 18 penthouses, and a Royal Sky Penthouse located at 1,397 feet. According to the company carrying out the project, Developer Tiger Properties, it is ‘an incredible 122-story masterpiece full of world-class amenities and timeless style – a place you can truly call home”.

What makes it so special?

As if the height, the floors, and the number of residences it will have weren’t enough, the Tiger Sky Tower aims to break world records, featuring the following attractions:

  • The highest infinity pool in the world, at 1,414 feet.
  • The highest restaurant in the world right above it.
  • A tropical rainforest, being the highest in the world at 1,466 feet. This idea aims to include a carefully selected ecosystem of trees, exotic birds, and running water features with the goal of incorporating a rainforest high in the desert. Additionally, it will include a small roller coaster and secluded observation areas.

More than a house

According to a company statement, “At Tiger Properties, we are dedicated to providing exquisite living environments that go above and beyond for our clients. Tiger Sky Tower is a testament to our commitment to perfection, and we are confident that it will raise the standard for luxury living in the UAE.” The common areas will feature a jacuzzi, outdoor pools, a rooftop terrace, a yoga deck, a children’s play area, a spa, a state-of-the-art gym, barbecue areas, and basketball and tennis courts.

How much will it cost to live in the Tiger Sky Tower?

According to data from the real estate agency Dubai Immo, the lowest prices for a one-bedroom apartment will be around $600,000, while penthouses could reach $13.7 million. Construction of the Tiger Sky Tower is already underway, and it is expected to be ready for sale by the second half of 2029.
