This initiative comes after the announcement of the new opening of 225 new stores, 20 of which will be located in Florida. How can you get one of these cards? All you have to do is be among the first 100 customers to enter the new stores, and you can get one.

Aldi

Aldi is a supermarket chain of German origin. First opened in 1946 by brothers Karl and Theo Albretch, they started following the family tradition until 1962 when it began to operate under this name. It is one of the best known chains worldwide for its wide variety of products and discounts. It currently has more than 10,000 stores in 20 countries.

It landed in the United States for the first time in 1976, and since then has experienced remarkable growth, achieving a good position in the market. It currently has more than 2,400 stores in 38 different states, employing more than 45,000 people. However, this number is not enough, and they plan to open 225 new stores by 2025, and a total of 800 by 2028.

New openings

Despite the strong competence between large supermarket chains in the United States, Aldi has been able to play its cards right and position itself well in the market. So much so that it has decided to bet big and has announced the opening of new stores throughout the country. It will open 225 new stores, 20 of which will be in Florida. The company announced that “This marks the largest number of store openings in a single year in ALDI’s nearly 50-year history in the U.S., as more shoppers than ever look to save up to 36% on their average grocery bill”.
